Scott Metcalfe Workshop
This year, the Boston College music department and the entire BC community has been fortunate to have the Blue Heron Renaissance Choir as “artists-in-residence”. Blue Heron performed in two concerts here last semester an is performing here again in March (see Events). As a part of its residency, Blue Heron’s music director, Scott Metcalfe, will be working with us TOMORROW on the Victoria Kyrie that we will be performing. In addition to being an exceptional performing artist on the violin, Scott is teeming with knowledge about early and Renaissance music (through 1700). I cannot even attempt to write an introduction to Scott that would do him justice, so I suggest you visit Blue Heron’s website to find out more about him. Nonetheless, we are overjoyed to have this opportunity and are looking forward to having our workshop with Scott videotaped by BCMag tomorrow.

YAY SCOTT!!!!!!!!!!!
